Anyone familiar with SATA connections/drives?
The motherboard of my computer here has two SATA connections available. The drives I currently have aren't SATA but there are converters available for IDE to SATA, so it's not impossible to convert the drives to SATA. What I'm wondering of course is... Is it worthwhile to try connecting through SATA? Would I get the benifits of a SATA connection (higher transfer speeds/bandwith)?
