Well, if worse comes to worse I'll just pull the right files from the english demo, but I'm not very picky.

Yeah, you were right. It's Italian language only... Ouch. I did find the lang. file it's in 'data00.sab' (never encountered .sab before), it can be opened with WinRar. It just might be possible to swap it out if the demo uses the same system. I'll probably try, seeing as how my Italian is worse even than my Russian.

I should have checked before upping. It's a pity because I have a number of games that are not on the site, but I realized many are either spoken or written in italian.

Still, I have several english games that are missing on 3dsl/al I'll upload in the next days

As I thought I was able to get the file from the demo, but... the demos txt file wasn't complete. So now I'm going through and comparing the 2 to see what needs to be translated and added. It's not hard, just laborious. I'll post the needed files when I'm done. I did come up against something Babelfish couldn't translate though...

What does 'Galahaste' mean?

Here are the English files:
http://www.4shared.com/dir/10874077/4ce ... Files.html

I think everything's transladed except for some dialouge, which is extensive and would take forever. I figure they'll be an english version upped at some point in the future. This is just a stop-gap measure.

Directions:
To insert these files, first install the game, then download and unrar the file from 4shared- open your 'data00.sab' file located in 'X:\Games\sabotain - break the rules\main', right click on it, hit 'Open With...', then 'Select The Program From A List', choose 'WinRAR Archiver' - Open the folder 'Data', inside are 3 files (ui, TEXT, scripts), highlight them, then 'right click' them, choose 'Delete files', that'll empty out the 'Data' folder (don't close the Winrar window)

Now the RAR you downloaded from me gave you a folder marked 'Data', it contains the english versions of ui, Text, scripts- highlight them and drag them into the WinRar window, a WinRar dialouge box will open up "Archive name and parameters" , hit "OK"

Good job man, I added the translation files to the download folder and made a readme out of your last post.

That should do the trick until we find an english ISO (still, I don't think anyone wants to play Sabotain, no matter the language ).

Geez, this game really is kinda rare. Can't find a RIP of it, and could'nt find a single (english) download for it, apart from torrents, on the web. Here's something I ment to add, but forgot. The keymap from the demo:
CONTROLS

keyboard:

W - forward
S - backward
A - strafe left
D - strafe right

C - crouch
Z - zoom

Q - hold weapon on/off
E - next weapon
F - use
SPACE - use skill
] - next skill
[ - previous skill

right mouse button - jump/ when driving a vehicle - brake
tab - menu

B - get out of vehicle

MISc
F - fly on/off
G - blocking view

F7 - give all (weapons + skills)
F8 - god mod on/off
F12 - screenshot
L - give all (weapons, items, vehicle keys, armors, tattoo, etc.)

esc - menu

F2 - quick transport system

you can choose general keys in settings menu

If you liked it, read my sarcastic mini review of another awful game, You Are Empty. I think it's worth a lol or two

Could anyone check this cover disc? I don't think the game got a Czech release so I'm a bit curious about the language in that demo.

Same demo I guess.

Confirming English, labeled Beta V.906 ingame - not expecting to have the full game script within its archives though :(

Code: Select all

Scene MIA: Sabotain.Break.The.Rules.SPANiSH-EnDoR
Only Spanish and French retails are missing now - expecting even less to have said script included even as some kinda leftovers :-x
Windows is shutting down

I see now that the English patch on this site is made partly from the mentioned demo.
