Which host do you like to download from most?

I'm mostly downloading from P2P now, because most of major http-servers are so slow today. It takes more time to get a demo from fileplanet, when a full game via torrent network. But if ought to choose - I prefer my own server - fast and dedicated.

I download mostly from RapidShare, but it's only natural because they have the biggest collection of junk people like to download. On the other hand RS is clogged and slow
(I never had a premium account there

). Whenever there is an alternative I skip the lousy RS.

4Shared and MegaUpload are my favorite file-hosting sites.

Based on that and the given list, I'd go for MediaFire. No waiting time and fast download speeds. Excellent for free users.

I prefer Usenet anytime, but for Direct Downloading I like Megaupload: very fast dl speed and filesize up to 1 GB for free users - until they change the rules again of course...

As much as I like the 4shared layout, I'm wondering about the stability of that service and the underlying file system. Surely I'm not the only one that thinks it strange random parts go missing from multi-part archives. Can this be a 4shared administrator; wouldn't they delete the entire thing?

Don't know why, but over the past year I'm always surprised when I see people are still posting, and apparently successfully retrieving files from Usenet. Used to use Luu Tran's Xnews reader, it was excellent.

Hi, I'm a noob here so I was interested to see who people thought was a good host but I'm still not sure

I've used Usenet for a few years now but it is getting really saturated with malware, password protected files and of course spam and there are no mods in any of the groups so this stuff is in most groups

This looks a good place to hang out though once I work out how it all works.

to the site. Get jDownloader app and you can queue up all the links to download one after another. Plus, we have reliable people who upload trustable images. Enjoy!

for the info on Jdownloader, I managed to get a copy after Firefox had stopped their page from being redirected to google

Seems the attack on their site is still going on!
