it is german retail version. comes in some wrapped box. got 3 CDs... and you NEED all 3 CDs to install...

btw: does someone know where the difference between the german and the US version is? coz my version is in english language, even if the box is in german

i got the english version and it's 2 cds..... i think i prefer this to a 3 cds one :P
