300 seconds mean nothing when I have 5 tabs at once all counting down.
I tried that but 4shared will only let you download 1 file at a time and the rest of the files will reset their counting time even much longer. so the 5 or 10 files at a time will not work.
Hey Uploaders, Please mirror to another host like Mediafire or Megaupload.
what country are you from ?
i can download 50 files max each at 800 kb/s max here in jdownload
Yes. From 8 MegaBits to 32 MegaBits (Public sites).
But now doesn't care. I remember some time ago when 4shared only let you download 1 file or at most 2 files at a time. It was a pain with large file parts like 14 mb or 20 mb per file, it was impossible to me to download those games. But now those times came back again, and again a few of us won't download many games because of that.

It takes me a few hours to snatch like 3 GB from 4shared. Either it's the country restriction or your bandwith is actually very low. Colombia is known for it's slow inet connection btw.

And thanks for this info
Then, I guess you're gonna have to start buying games in a local store... You could also consider moving to South Korea
(solo estoy bromeando)

C'mon, don't be selfish - think about poor sods who cannot download huge files.
P.S. I'm not one of them anymore, but I remember how tedious and annoying it used to be.
P.P.S. If something goes wrong, it's much more difficult for the uploader to replace a huge file (instead of upping a smaller part of a split archive).

I confirm that it is possible to download more than one file simultaneously in 4shared.
I don't know jdownloader, but if this program is able to support different proxies for each download then this will do the trick.
Once the favorite browser and download manager is configured properly 4shared will become one of the fastest hosting service.
Mediafire in contrast is stuffed with nasty advertising java scripts.
I see no necessary to leave 4shared.
I was downloading Road To India from 4shared. I was on part 6 and the wait time had grown to over 300 seconds. I cleared my browser cache and went back for part 7. I only had to wait 90 seconds. There is obviously a cookie involved which can be cleared to cut down on the wait time.
