I noticed on 3dshooterlegends.com there was no Hardwar listing. yet they do have aircraft and helicopter sub categories.
Hardwar Is a 3d flying shooter so I thought I should see it on the site. Is there a good reason why this and games like it (descent) are not included on 3dsl.com?
I see they have Crime Cities listed and that game is similar but Hardwar is truly a legend with a huge cult following.
I have actually compiled for release an updated version of Hardwar with all the patches and mods in tact. I may post it on this site in the uploads section.
Also what about space shooters? My vote for the favorite is Tachyon the Fringe. I have also compiled a version of this game with patches and mods.
Hardwar - can you add this to 3dshooterslegends.com ?

For sure, I'll add Hardwar next update. I have a list of titles to add that will last the whole rest of the year that include heli and car combat titles but with priority on missed FPS and TPS titles. I haven't added space combat titles and only a few jet shooters...maybe after. If there's any titles people wanted added sooner, feel free to suggest them.

Cool cool ScaryFun.
Don't know if you know the background on Hardwar but it was made by The Software Refinery a U.K based developer studio. they went out of business shortly after the release and this saddened most folks because Hardwar turned out to be an awesome game. There have been a clamoring for years for someone to create a Hardwar 2. After the game started showing up on abandonware sites one of the original devs got involved to produce patches and bug fixes - just out of love of the Hardwar fan base. These patches also help the game to run on modern operating systems. No one currently holds the rights to this game so it's legally up for grabs for anyone to download.
There is a great site with the history and information for this game as well as downloads of the CD's found here: http://zedo.hardwar.org.uk/
The version I have compiled has all of the updates and patches as well as extras like maps and other extras found on the net compiled into one folder so one can easily install and patch the game without downloading tons of scattered files. It is uploaded on megaupload.com. If you like, I can post these links someplace like the upload section. I may even make a Portable version of the game for download warped up in an installer (like I did with Half Life source Enhanced) so all one would have to do is click on the setup exe to install everything.
