First, our main focus is to preserve older fps games so stability of the file host is more important than speed.
Second, read the FAQ page.... you can use FlashGet so it downloads all files in one briefcase automatically.

If you want to get a game without downloading all the small parts, download it by p2p or go buy it  . You could also download games linked to other sites, as they are in one part (but sometimes with slower speed).

Yeah, I mean at least you can generally guarantee the existance of the games on Yahoo.....If it was a warez link it'd be down within days.....

Appreciate what you are getting!

This way of Hosting files has been going on for years - Yahoo use to on regular basis delete alot of stuff - either they gave up or are under new management - the other thing could be too is that not many warez sites are using YBC now to host files due to p2p and other better methods for file transfering - who knows :D

agree :!:

You don't love it, go find some other place to download the
games you'r looking for. speed isn't SO important, especially
when you've been looking for somthing a long time, and you've
finally found it.

ViDER...sums it up perfectly.....dont you just love the feeling of discovering a game you've been wanting for years but cant find legally or illegally....at one point, my speeds dropped down to 2.6kb on one game....I didn't care!!

I totally agree!!! a lot of these games are super hard to find and usually on e-bay they don't even ship outside of the US.... or they are stupidly priced on the net.. I just found "Raptor: call of the shadows" the other day... I've been looking for that game for YEARS....... I can't believe they charge $15.99USD for that game... it's 3MB 10yr old VGA game for goodness sake...

Personally, not being one on a broadband connection I can say that this setup in the long makes it so all of us can enjoy the games on here. It's just like ILoVeScaryFun said beggars can't be choosers so whatever setup the guys around here think is best for us is fine with me.

I'm definately agreeing with Felix on the insane price ranges. There have been adventure games that I've looked for to have the cd version of, and some folks are asking for up to $30 for them. Now I may love the games plenty but why would I want to buy a game that's about 10 years old for a price you could probably have got it for when it was new?
