So does 'code' + 'hide' stop bots from grabbing the keys ?
I also thought that 'code' would would be enough but i wasn't sure.
Will hiding the keys only allow logged-in members to see them ?
And is the user shout box open to anyone ?

Stuff in a hide command doesn't show up on a google search unless you're a forum member and have posted in the thread. The mini-chat mod doesn't allow non-members to post, there's never any anonymous posts.
