Hi guys! Does anyone know where to download this game (full version) for android? I want to play
it with my wife separately but we can't start her android version...eighter we missing something eighter
we have only demo version...but strange thing is that i downloaded the game from one Russian site with
demo 25 MB and with additional OBB files 1.5 GB,and acording to some Russian guys these files should be full game.
If they're right then i'm too stupid even to follow install instructions

That is correct, think of APK like a MSI installer that may (or may not) contain the full thing within itself (and MOD like pre-crk'd or RePacked installers, ye need to verify each for successful operation), and OBB/DATA like files read from disc (like FMV/BGM) - which can be either packed (like a BIN or PAK) or not - if there is one in the first place. First put the APK anywhere ye want and run in on the device, and when the installation is complete tap CLOSE instead of RUN (like preventing a StarForce installation ). THEN extract the archive that has the OBB/DATA (keep the folder structure intact - can't stress this enough) and put it in Android/obb (or "data")/cryptic_name_of_title(in this case "com.postudios.gk1") - just make sure ye don't Android/obb/Android/obb/etc (in this case it goes on SD instead of internal based on permissions, but ye need to verify that for any future app that has those)...

Problem is, the title has been rushed and is thus riddled with bugs, even after all this time, and for both iOS & Android the devs themselves haven't done a full debug-beta test (noted not working on several Samsung Galaxy models, guess me Xperia can be inserted as well, will have to try the XAPK format ) so yep, if it gets stuck on logo or after finishing one of the days or something yer out of luck unfortunately

UPDATE: Nope, no type of APK+OBB variation worked, thus here's an alternative to consider (that worked for me - somewhat). Grabbed a XAPK installer (called specifically "XAPK Installer" ), then the XAPK itself (either APKPure or mob.org), installed successfully, got past logo, went to new game, only day1 unlocked (all others are non-working "Buy now"), maybe a faux-trial, haven't bothered to beat day1 so wouldn't know (notify if/when ye do). The diskette-version is 14 MB. CD version of ~ 400 MB. 1.5 GB is too much. Very strange, what are those files? Download ScummVM for Android and start the game using it.

Floppy is initial version, CD is talkie (plus CDDA me thinks) enhancement of the said initial, while I believe the request was for the Android port of the remaster which I hope was filled properly. Either way for providing info for emulation on Android

the android version is the ugly broken stepchild of Phoenix Online... fan devs that did a Fan continuation of Kings Quest Silver crap Something , thats got Roberta blessing ... and somehow this convinced Jane Jensen to hire them for the remake of Gabriel 1 ... that was not <i>fudge</i> needed ... Since you can install on Android ScummVM and play any SIerra game on it ... heck even DoxBox works on Android... remake so fuggly you kill it with fire

But now they are kinda being a publisher ... then a dev of half broken buggy sh!ty crap that you have to debug to make it work... and checked the android version and its EP1 is free the rest is pay to play PER SINGLE CHAPTER ... what a a scam
