"Here at least
We shall be free; the Almighty hath not built
Here for his envy, will not drive us hence:
Here we may reign secure; and, in my choice,
To reign is worth ambition, though in Hell:
Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven…"
It's worth nothing that the Isozone went down due to ridiculous internal drama. As someone that's dealt with Jambo, the detective who ran the site, let me tell you - he's unhinged. Goes on extremely childish profanity, slur-filled diatribes constantly, is *obsessive* about messing with the people who are trying to rebuild from his retardation, and has even had rape allegations thrown at him recently. The IsoZone is down forever purely because of him. His intentions were to launch a new site where, yeah, you had to pay to access all the files that *other people* contributed to his own file service, FireDrop, or whatever it's called.
That said, keep an eye out for RetroZone, the community effort to provide what IsoZone once did. It's had a number of Jambo-created obstacles, but they're doing good work.
Retrozone didn't die. Jambo had access to their servers and wiped everything, prompting them to temporarily use Discord while they unfucked their situation. Check Retrozone(.co) now, then go to the forums. At the moment, it's request-based, but to my understanding, their plans include a more TIZ-style format eventually.
