Version differences for Ring: The Legend of the Nibelungen?

Post by Pheonix »

Does anyone know what, if any, difference there is between the US 4-CD and European 6-CD versions of "Ring: The Legend of the Nibelungen?"

I know American "Values" will sometimes cut large swathes of material from all forms of media when they cross the pond. Or sometimes not so small, such as just adding a bikini to a woman taking a bath. But is the 2 CD difference from cut material or just higher compression or lower video quality?

Thank you :)

The game "Ring: The Legend of the Nibelungen" was released in three versions: a 4-CD version discs, a version on 6 CDs, with videos of higher quality, and a version on two DVDs. In the DVD version, four more languages of translation were added to the three languages of the CD versions. In terms of quality, the DVD version is no different from version on 6 discs. The second DVD contains a seven-minute video about the creation of the game.

Thank you :) I knew about the dual sided DVD version with the Making Of video on side B. Was mainly just curious about the 4 & 6 CD versions. So it's just better video quality of the 6 CD version, which is good to know :)
