Playfire is shutting down for good

What this means for you: if you have purchased any games in the past 13 years which use the Playfire client, you will need to download them before the 30th September 2022 in order to continue playing them after the service has been closed.

Any games which have not been downloaded by the 30th September 2022 will not be able to be accessed again. However, games which have been downloaded before this date will be playable as normal.

Also, would be interested in some kinda list of their DRM'd titles to sniff around, if any - me senses tell some rarities will get missed out this time too, just like Direct2Drive and DotEmu and Desura; IIRC the latter got lost the most

After doing said search, thankfully only one title seems to be truly lost - "Too Many Me" which, unsurprisingly, is long gone from Steam and Desura before anyone grabbed it
Also this if one counts it as out of reach

I think it was a general email sent out to anyone who has ever purchased anything on GMG. I do feel like I sort of accelerated the process though Probably not worth the trouble anymore.
