Can't explain why it worked, but I'm happy that it did. The nocd was good exercise for me.

Likely another basic Director CD check. I'll try breaking into it.

EDIT:
Caillou - Four Seasons of Fun - nocd

Code: Select all

Copy "<CD>\Source Files" folder to <install>

Yikes! 16-bit Windows app. I don't have dosbox 3.1 to try it for awhile.

Copied the DATA files to HDD and copied the Securom 4.8 crack. Played around some bit with activities. How to trigger the protection nag?

i can't remember how the protection nag was triggered, but i think it was clicking on the user's personal something (not in the sign-in screen)

and Charlotte's Web Wilbur and Friends (aka Charlotte's Web Discovery Farm) might be copy-protected...not sure, if anyone can confirm this, it'd be much appreciated

Just a notice that my snooze is off and I'll try catching up here. I hope that BBC title isn't SecuRom because my tool broke sometime ago. :ugh:

EDIT: Walking with Beasts Operation Salvage = there's SafeDisc protection files. I was able to install, copy "Start WWB - Operation Salvage.exe" to install directory. Copy xtras\*.dll to install directory. Clicked the Start WWB.exe and seemed okay.

Start WWB Pre-cracked = MYTH/DEViANCE. SafeDisc 2.40 signature in file also. I have to wonder though if a generic crack can be used, being Macromedia Director. I'll look into this another time.

EDIT2: Charlotte's Web is SafeDisc 4.60. Yeowie. I'd hope that the nocd works.

EDIT3: Had to use A-ray Scanner on the CDs. That tool is usually reliable on figuring out any protectors.

EDIT4: Blue's Clues. Have to try this again - I wouldn't be surprised if a hidden cd nag bomb was in there.

@shadowcat, what does "Start WWB Pre-cracked = MYTH/DEViANCE. SafeDisc 2.40 signature in file also." mean?

Don't know if I'll get a chance to look at Blues anytime - a bunch of costly bad problems happened, and I didn't feel good about any of them.

Walking with Beasts Operation Salvage (archive copy) is pre-cracked with a nocd by MYTH / Deviance. Turns out it uses SafeDisc 2.40 protection.

I assume Episode I is not protected from reading here

(can't check since I'm on a public computer; mine got blown up by a super malware and obliterated the OS system + recovery)
