My graphics is a Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller
Is there anyway I can get Battlefield 2 too run on this graphics chip?
I double click the desktop icon it shows the game start-up saying Battlefield 2 then a few seconds later the screen goes black for a blink of a second then I'm back to desktop

I got the Far Cry multiplayer test/beta to run on an Intel integrated graphics chip, but the result wasn't pretty. It didn't load any of the textures or shaders (no big surprise) & crashed soon after. Basically what you're seeing is a failure to initialize the graphics system.
You should really try to get a cheap graphics board.. maybe ebay.ca would be a good bet to find one at a reasonable price.
