Rayman Gold No-CD Patch Topic is solved

Thanks for the help on the GTA Vice City problem but there is a problem in Rayman Gold.

Where is the no-CD patch ? I mean, how will i play the game without the CD-ROM ?

I haven't tried burning the ISO file, so tell me whether burning the ISO files will make the game work or not?

Most of the games from this era play only from the CD-ROM drive, hence I highly doubt it's possible to play without the said CD-ROM. Not every game on the site has a no-CD patch. If you're not too sure about burning a CD, why not play using Daemon Tools or Alcohol52% ?

Thanks for Alcohol 52% tip. Oh and i'm not complaining but i already know about this "CD-ROM is required to play the game" thing like in NFS II SE. God, i love that game. Too bad, i wasn't able to play it using 3dfx cards (in fact, i didn't had one and internet on that junk gave it so many viruses that my uncle had to reinstall the OS. Yup, that bad) on my Windows 2000 monitor which doesn't work anymore, it looks so much better on 3dfx. Oh and i think you guys should make a new website on racing games called "Racing Legends" (of course). It will be much, much easier to find the full version of those instead of Rips. God, i hate rips.

Honestly, google GameCopyWorld. Look there first. If it ain't there, though...

Nope, its not there on that site. The only ones i find are Rayman 2,3 and Arena.

I tried mounting the ISO file in an application called Cyberlink Power2Go, which i didn't even know i had and while it worked, i was disappointed with the game, the thing is that there are no backgrounds, the fact that the patch is actually a used game and no music and in the end, i decided to skip to Rayman 2, 3 and Origins. I know this will annoy you guys but at least i got it to work.

Well, the fact that i'm posting posts on problems i'm having for days but yeah, i think i should stop this "you guys will be annoyed" thing.

sounds to me like the game was broken , this game has backgrounds and CD-audio music ... Rayman 1 was the best game out there

Rayman Gold on-site has no cdda. Backgrounds .. there's a in-game toggle config switch for that. Maybe depends on how much memory game detects?


For Dosbox users, how to fix mscdex error. example config: my virtual cdrom drive is h.

Inside dosbox type: mount e h:\ -t cdrom
(mscdex installed)

Oh and i installed Rayman 2 and even though i'm just at the beginning of the game, one thing i'm gonna say is that the game looks gorgeous. Oh and is there a way to play the game in 1366x786? Also, even though i set the resolution to 1280x720 in GXSetup, the game's high resolution is still set to 1020x680. Oh and i saw some guy on YouTube play the game in 1920x1080.

Edit the "ubi.ini" file with notepad. There should be a line where you can define your resolution.

Thanks but i'm retreating to the Dreamcast version. The thing is that the game does not open anymore and the worst part is that the both the uninstaller and installer don't work, so the game doesn't work anymore and since the DC version is claimed to be better than the PC version, i'm going with that. Don't give any solutions about this problem, i have made up my mind.

or the ps2 version called Rayman Revolution ... both version can be called a REMASTERED version of Rayman 2 ... better textures , new bosses , new mini games , new levels etc...
