Sadly Intel seems to have removed their old drivers from their website. The one preinstalled with Win10 and the ones on Windows Update are outdated. In order to connect to my new router I had to install updated drivers. Works even in Windows 7 after updating drivers. Tried it with a 7260 which was in my older laptop. Didn't realize that laptop had a somewhat decent wifi card, ordered some RAM from china for it now, maybe it will make a decent linux laptop...
