I don't have idea is it known or not...
At KBW's site I've found a very interesting archive with included prototype and source code of unrealeased Corridor 8 - Galaxy Wars. Here's the link:

LOL, from the first (operational) view this prototype looks like a very early Build engine conversion of Doom to be honest... Sounds/textures/sprites are ripped from doom and other sources, I can't believe they'd call this a prototype of Corridor 8...

Still gotta check out the individual files though, the pdfs are interesting, I wonder what those art files have in store...
