HALO 2 Xp savegames

For anyone that has played this game in xp - do you know where the savegames are stored? In Vista they are in Users\Administrator\Saved Games\Halo 2 But i cannot find any dir hidden or otherwise in xp that contains the Halo0001.Halo2 savegame file. Any help appreciated.

Have you searched here :

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft Games
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\SL
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Microsoft

In that guide it's written what folders delete to uninstall the game. Maybe the savegames are there.

You can play so the following info isn't for you, jjim, but maybe it'll interest some people :
The minimum requirements isn't just XP, but XP with SP2. And you're obliged to install the game in program files. That's why if you want to install on a drive D:, you've to modify a key with regedit. That's all I wanted to say. Yeah I tested the game, just to see how bad it could be...

Thx for the help - finally found it - Hidden system files needs to be unchecked and then it's here:

C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Microsoft\Halo 2\Saved Games

Yes game is not the best - graphics - particularly textures , are very poor for such a new game.

its a port from a xbox game that came in 2004

Halo 2 is so fun game. Port of 2006 is more than mockery. Bad graphic, square rooms, lowpoly models, very arcade gameplay and only Vista support (not only of cource, but stupid commercial limits).
If you dont know, but troubles with last mission (insert CD or activate bla-bla-bla) you can solve with Process Monitor from Microsoft. LOL but really helps.
