Regarding the lists of titles in that other thread, I realised I own some of them as ISO images, on CD/DVD-R or legit copies.
(It's probably the case for most of 3dsl visitors and members...)
A good idea might be for each of us willing to help to list in that thread what we'll be ready to re-up as ...

Played 3 levels so far. Nice'n'sleazy corridors a la RtCWolfenstein. Sort of Time Gate under D3 engine gluey lighting. Like it.
To keep your favorite settings and ignore the russian UI, just put a copy of your D3 config in the mod 'base' dir.

Right-Click = no go
Rename as .iso = no go
I re-downloaded all 3 mq2001 files. Still no go.

Yes I tried, but no way.
'Quake World 3' and 'Quake 2 Anthology' expand directly in a single .ISO file.

mq2001 doesn't expand in an .ISO but a single 618M file: mq2001.7z
Size seems OK but trying to expand further with 7zip (or anything alse) gives error "The archive is either in unknown format or ...

7zip expansion of mq2001.7z.001, mq2001.7z.002 & mq2001.7z.003 gives a single 618M mq2001.7z file which is totally unusable...
Both Quake World 3 & Quake 2 Anthology expand here correctly in a ISO file!
