Yup, I know how to install a game and while I'm at it I'll install a cyrillic char set. That way I still won't have a %^µ*ing clue as to what it actually says, but at least I'll be cool

I've just downloaded otiscrusher's DX2IW DVD ISO and burned it to DVD (using CloneCD) . The thing is, everything 'seems' to be there i.e. file sizes check out normally, no download problems or anything, but when I try to install, the installer's text is all %^µ*ed up. Same thing for readme files ...

Allright then. I guess it's time to download Deus Ex GOTY and give this brilliant piece of gaming another go.

Hey guys, just read Chris Dohnal's page, as linked by Diehard, about that OpenGL/D3D renderer and noticed that he also developed a version for Deus Ex.

Has any of you tried this? What kind of improvement would we be talking about as I am not too familiar with this sort of thing?

Yes, I admit it IS confusing :-) But seriously, v1.13 b1080 is the latest true release build. All the others are exe builds containing bug fixes they use as frequent releases to the community (not a bad idea at all, imho). You'll have to trust hurenBock when it comes to ...
