Quake 3 Arena and Quake 3 Team Arena setup

HI

I downloaded Quake 3 Arena and Quake 3 team arena. Quake 3 Arena works fine. Before the instalation of the point release 1.32 the game can't load. "Sound/feedback/hit.wav has length 0" is the message in the main menu when the program try to start.

I dont know where put the music files and the all Quake 3 team arena files. I need help for this problems. Thanks
