I have found an intersting site, the links is: h**p://www.hamachi.cc/. With this program LAN-Games via internet are maybe possible, didn't ckecked it out. Also save peer to peer is possible with it.

You need an adress and a password for each network you can find ALOT on their forum/a part of their site,
I have installed this and ran it before alltho it was in its early stages I was kind of pleased with it but it still ran like crap
..
The faster of everyone connected in the "vpn" the better.
It is basically a lan, so if they have files shared you can also get into them and copy (or download whichever you prefer) to you're computer, alltho it might take ages, hey its a "internet" lan basically.
