Alieni~1 , Oh my let me guess you are using Win98 (only 8+3 symbol files) , well ok you can change the name of this Alieni~1 file to alie.bin , then open with notepad or any text editor the *.cue file and change the name in the bracelets to alie.bin

or write this unecm.exe alininct.bin.ecm alininct.bin ,this will unecm that file to alininct.bin if it still will not mount check with a txt editor (recomend notepad) the *.cue file for the right name of this file

you're right hfric.
But in windows 98 doing just a double click on the unecm.bat file will start the extraction if all the files are on the same folder of the hard drive.

At least that's what I do with all the ecm files.

Spirit so you are saying that "its easy to say press the bat file but it very hard to explain what to do when no bat file is around"

If some one started gaming from the Dos times the he will know what to do next , but now many will not with the Windows and now Vista GUI that has no written commands only windows and specially no dos .
I know a guy that had all his life a console and when he bought a PC he played games and he allways wanted to finish them in on session , why because he was only familiar with the save points that in every console games are in some locations marked with a bright glow . He had the trouble in understanding that on the pc you can Save your game anywhere and there is some thing like Quick Save

Thats why I allways like to explain it fully and not just say "press bat"

I possibly screwed something up in the batch file. Really all you need to do is, in the console go to the extracted folder and type:

unecm alininct.bin.ecm

The bin file will extract and then you can mount the cue file.

Oyn he did that and got the Alieni~1 file (its win98 with fat32), thats why he must write
unecm.exe alininct.bin.ecm alininct.bin

hfric, it's definitely was not Win98, because Win98 can handle long names. :) Trust me, I worked under it up to 2005. :) (It was Win98 SR2, though). I think, issue with long names was only in Win95...

Or I may be wrong?
