There is also could be issue with exe's header parameters, that no matter for Win 9x, but important for XP. There is shareware program PE Explorer, that can check this parameters and automatically correct it. At least, I seen already two programs, that says "non-valid win32 application" and was fixed by simply open and save via PE Explorer.

Then it's definitely not exe.
I have setup.exe. If it have reasonable size (less then 10Mb), I even can mail it to you.
But it will be later - I need to take disk from home to work (where I am now). Maybe tomorrow.
Just curious: look into this "exe" with simple file viewer (Windows Notepad for example). What are you see? And is there exist any valid files?
Can you please check here and there - txt, hlp and such, that have human-readable texts? Or maybe all iso is big fake? (I myself have one such iso - every file have right name and size, but inside is avi/riff signature, several bytes of sound and lo-o-ong "00H" up to the end of file).

I just did a check and here are the results .. its not Setup.exe ( winner: Smiling Spectre ).
I was trying to copy all the files from mounted ISO to the disk and i got non-valid parameters error on multiple files, and hence the copying process couldn't continue.
there is some kind of corruption or some other stuff here, but this ISO is completely dead. As far as i see!

Oh! Then that's can be totally different problem: do you have full ISO? Non-valid parameters usually relate to attempt to read disk where is nowhere.ryubond007 wrote: I was trying to copy all the files from mounted ISO to the disk and i got non-valid parameters error on multiple files, and hence the copying process couldn't continue.

It's very easy to check: if size of ISO outside (info about disk in virtual drive) bigger then size of ISO-file - you definitely have broken ISO. ISO always must be bigger then it's content.
In that case maybe you have broken downloaded file on your side? Try to start to reload ISO and check downloading size. If it's more, then your file - it's non-complete ISO on your side. Download again.
