Just curious about how you all chose your user name for this forum. For me? I loved the Alien movies and Ellen Ripley was really kick-ass and very tall lol. So I chose "ripley" Anyone else care to share?

Gaming become popular in late 70's and now it's 30 years later. So, let's say kids that were 10 years old at the time are now 40. And not only 10-year olds played those game either, so gamers can be of all ages.
But I know you were joking anyway....and if you weren't, we'll put you young'uns in your place.
Nickname for me is something, in a first place, associated with the internet, since not many games in 80s and 70s required you to enter your name there, and in more recent games you're supposed to do it to create your profile, even if game is adventure or a flight simulator(I'm not talking about highscores screen), so maximum what I expected to see is mid-90s. Of course, I know about BBSs, but this is another story.
I'm not a fan of adventure games but.. my nick is from one of the chracters in the game "I have no mouth and I must scream". The crazed evil computer AM that destroys humanity.
