Game suggestions?

I'm looking for advice for a new game to download. I'm looking for anything that you might think is a sleeper hit.

Exp: I was surprised how much fun I had playing the KISS Psycho Circus game, it was way cooler and more fun than I would have imagined. Any other gems you'ld care to recomend?

try F.E.A.R

have it since 2 days and its awesome.......

I don't think my system has got the horsepower to run FEAR. It can just barely run Quake 4, with almost everything set low. I thought KISS was pretty cool. I had already played Serious Sam (which I thought was pointless) and was expecting it to be like that, but it turned out to be a simple fun shooter.

well i liked Serious Sam but just the first part the second one wasnt good in my eyes

what system do u have ?

i think an P4 2GHZ should be enough with an fast graphics card for FEAR
even then when 3 GHZ are recommened

when its about older games i would say :

VIETCONG, MOHAA , RTCW , damn there r so much good games
oh a light is getting on in my head

maybe MAFIA if you still dont know it........

Any game in the Thief series if you havent played them yet

Ok they arent technically FPS (more like...First person stealth and you use a longbow and a sword if/when needed) But they`re still some of the best games ever imho.

Soldier of fortune is also fairly neat.Star trek Voyager Elite force if you like Trek or a FPS game with a plot.Jedi Knight.

A really good list of very good games indeed!

Totally support you, except Tomb Raider 2 and Virtua Cop 2.

These games really suck, TR 2 especially

TR 1 - nice first tps game with good graphics , the first female role
TR 2 - the whole game was nicely done , the last stage when they attacked you in Lara's mansion in hers pajamas was the best ending ever ,
TR 4 - for one theme Egipt and the course of Death that killed Lara
TR 5 - for 3 themes and 3 stories in one game
TR 6 - for trying something different ... still don't get it how she was resurrected
TR 7 - for the new graphical pixel shader 3.0 engine and Legacy of Kain game play
TR 1 remake - for showing how TR would look like if it was made today

This parts are good , only 3 is really bad , but hey it my opinion some say only TR 1 ,5 and 7 are only good

No, I play other things to especially RPGs, but I figured I'd be more likely to get FPS recommendations here. (I was pissed to discover that my graphics card couldn't run NWN2. Now I have to wait for my next computer upgrade.

I have played some of those you mentioned Space Hulk, Hexen, MDK, the Tomb Raider games, the Resident Evil games...

Trey you must understand that you can't run games that use pixel shader 2.0 or 3.0 , Ge-force only had PS 1.0 ...

to run doom 3 that uses pixel shader 2.0 you must have min. Ge-force FX 5200 card
