Newwolf? Yeah, that's quite a cool piece of software. A friend of mine once fixed those annoying boxes around every image that occure on my system. I just wonder where I put it...

The WinWolf3D also exists that still is in version 0.0.94, but is attemped to also supply to support Catacomb 3D, Catacomb Abyss… Support for other games originated for the Wolf3D Source is also planned.

Fun thing is, there's also loads of Wolfenstein-inspired Add-Ons and TC's for Doom.
For instance, this thread offers a ZDoom TC, exactly mimicking the original Wolfenstein 3D, yet with all of the Zdoom engine's features. Check it out too, it might possibly the next best thing: if you use FreeDoom as a base, you will have the gameplay experience of Wolf3D, in a legal construction!
