Oh my god, are you telling me the developers of this didn't know one native english speaker?! This has to be one of the worst translations since 'All your base are belong to us!', at times it's almost like a Monty Python skit. The voice actors try to work with the material, but you can tell they were just given the script and told, 'Read it!' It's so wooden, and poorly written, at times it's like Japanese 'Engrish'. Did the developers not care about picking up the english audience?
Edit: Wow, finally finished it. You know how people always complain about a game being 'stupid' or it's story being 'stupid'? Usually I just ignore that type of bitching, but this time they were right. It would take a massive rewrite to salvage this game, and I doubt it's really worth it.
Alpha Prime - WTF?

I just tried the US demo, gfx are okay as well as physics, but it was quite buggy (maybe it's because it was the demo).
Anyway, voice acting was really stupid/funny at times but the game itself seems kinda fun to play through... Is it worth getting the full version?

Don't worry, we don't like you either.
I played the demo just recently... and although I grew kind of tired of FPS games I was surprised to find that I enjoyed the demo just because it was so straight forward and didn't try to reinvent the genre like ever damn other shooter out there these days. A refreshing splash of linearity, stereotypes, and trash charm.
I don't remember the voice acting or dialogue as linguistically bad... just the story itself as cheesy, which I really didn't mind. Maybe they chose only the least broken lines for the demo?
