Fallout 3 GOTY!

Guys this time i'm playing this game which is ... amazing, i thought it was like the previous fallout games but i was wrong. Anyway i like very much this shooter-rpg style like S.t.a.l.k.er.
The thing is that gets stuck all the time, i red in forums that GOTY has more bugs than the simple edition and i have reached a point where - in search for dad mission, in the abandoned house - the game freezes always in the house.
Has it happened to anyone else???
Is there any fan-made patch that fixes the goty version??? (LIKE GOTHIC?)
