Thanks very much for this info. It's a whole scene I know little about. Perhaps my biggest discovery of 2010 (who wouldn't want to play Harlequin Presents: The Hidden Object Of Desire???).
Someone told me that 90% of it is crap, but I prefer to judge by myself.
I often like stuff that people think is crap. I bet there are many "find the objects" or "put 3 jewels in a row", but I love the kitsch-pulp aspect of so many titles.

"Valued Customers,
As of June 30th, 2010, we are no longer selling games on Reflexive.com. Thank you for your business and support.
Please be sure to install and activate your past purchases prior to July 31st, 2010. "
I thought that they won´t gonna sell games from other companies, but it seems that they even don´t gonna sell games made from them. they are (or were) developers but not even they are selling the games that they made. I think that this company will dessapear soon. Thanks Reflexive!.

Source:From now until June 30, 2010, Reflexive will continue its business as usual. After that date, Reflexive will shift its business to focus entirely on game development and games will no longer be available for purchase on Reflexive.com.

Well, the talk on the Reflexive forum (as if I was the expert... I only browsed it a little yesterday) is that Amazon has bought Reflexive, and might have an interest in selling download games.
The industry is going toward small, downloadable, ready-to-play, buyable bonuses. I long for the return of massive, hyper-long narratives. Something you can play 6 months and more (and not just because you're a specific clan that wants to exterminate that other clan forever).
Ok, maaaaybe not 6 months (you already spend that just with replay value), but maybe 3 weeks to 1 month.

Rest in peace, RA!
Yeah, there was a lot of rubbish at Reflexive Arcade, but they also had some nice little games. My favorites were the "semi-adventures" (hidden object games) and Arcanoid/Breakout clones.Talkie wrote:Someone told me that 90% of it is crap, but I prefer to judge by myself.

Some of the games from RA (like Mystery Case Files and Dream Chronicles series) have their entries at AL.
