Megaupload has the same wait time for every file regardless of the size. Which isn't so bad considering the max size for a non-premium upload is 1gb. After you go over the download limit there's a wait period but I think the limit is like 6 or 7gbs.

Last time I checked, the download limit on MU was around 4 GB. Then you need to wait for 2 hours. But maybe it differs from country to country.

Now things are some better, you can download 4 to 8 files at a time, hope will be more in the near future like before. :)

Recently I've noticed that you can only download one file at a time.

Great, it looks like they took away the multiupload feature for free users. Can anyone confirm this? I prefer not to use their tool.

I wouldn't know, 4shared was really slow for me this morning. I was going to put Wings of Glory there but the upload wouldn't start.

Yeah, one download at a time now...though I was getting up to 500kb/s which is double the normal speed of what I used to get.
Multi-upload button looks gone, but you can click the + More button to get more Choose File buttons. Then you choose each individual file and click upload to upload them all together. So, just an extra minute of clicking to accomplish the multiuploads.

True, but this isn't very convenient for uploading a large number of files. I guess that'll have to do though.

For some reason in Firefox the button is gone, but in IE8 it's still there...

Yeah, I was using Firefox. Then this must be a 4shared bug. I'll use IE then for uploading.

I also tried their tool, it's rubbish and slowed down my system.

Thanks for the tip.
