I tried both suggested options. Using the crack, the game exits with an error message during start-up. The image doesn't work either, as starforce does not recognize it as original, even if I unplug all physical CD-drives. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. I might try getting a used copy next time I visit Russia or the Ukraine.
why disk did you mount? Must be 1 or 3.

I mounted disk 1 (disk 2 and 3 didn't work at all. it kept asking me inserting the game disk) and also tried the mini-image. Thank you all, but I will put it away for some time.

You are the only fella with such problem. I had the same crap with L.A. Rush. Couldn't play at all.

What error message? Are we allowed to learn it? For me it seems you have misconfigured your computer by installing to much stuff.
Tip: Deinstall the game. Clean up your system. Reinstall DirectX. Deinstall graphic drivers. Install newest graphic drivers.

The game runs fine:

I found out how to get it to work:

You need Windows XP.

I installed it on 3 different XP (32bit) machines. None worked. What graphics card you are using, because all of these machines either had onboard or ATI cards (4850, 5650)?

same , problem... its like this workaround ,was not designed to run in systems that do not operate Starforce DRM (do not accept sf drivers)... like its a Dx9c winxp workaround only ... like the first SF cracks that hit the scene (used SF drivers and faked so calls)

Apparently Neuro was released in Taiwan fully translated into English. That version was tested on Windows 10. I'll be trying to get a copy of the Taiwanese pressing soon.

It would be interesting to see the English version! Back when it was released I looked for it but it never came. I had a plan to try it back to back with another 1st person perspective sci-fi shooter from Russia - Neuro Hunter. It was released just 6 months before.

Any idea what's the taiwanese name? Maybe someone can find and order it, if it popups on some auction website.
Please help me! Check HERE for my requests / most wanted titles!
