Under Ash (2002) [PROBLEM.SOLVED]
(http://www.legendsworld.net/3DSL/2002.htm#underash for those who don't know)
I would like to play this, but the EXE is detected as a virus. Does anyone have a crack for it so I can decompile the .w_x file in the root?

Depending on the AntiVirus you're using, the exe may have been disable (having been seen as a virus), you may need to add it to an 'exceptions' list on your AV. I know AVG is like that.fokkertism wrote:When I turn off my antivirus and try to use the EXE, it says "Internal error Z0001".
Also what OS are you using?

With AVG (which I've got), it'll usually spot the 'bad' file while it's being installed. It'll pop up 'move to virus vault' or 'ignore' but even if you hit 'ignore' the offending file will be disabled. So, what I usually do is,
1) Install the game, hit 'ignore' when the warning pops up.
2) Bring up the AVG user interface, goto 'tools', 'advanced settings' , on the left hand side click on the 'excluded items' tab, got to 'add file' , find the offending file in the game directory and add it.
3) Go back and re-install the game, overwrite or do a complete reinstall, now you shouldn't get that warning and the file should function correctly.

For those who want to get it to work, I salute you. Here are my instructions:
1) Obtain a copy of Windows XP SP1 or the RTM version (edition doesn't matter)
2) Install DirectX 9.0c and the latest drivers (I used DirectX 9.0b but it doesn't matter)
3) Install it on a partition
4) Mount or burn the ISO to a CD or DVD
4.5) Insert the burned CD and click on "UNDERASH Cracked By ABM.exe"
5) RUN!
This might also work for the magnificent Russian game "Neuro". It can be found here: http://www.legendsworld.net/3DSL/2006.htm#Neuro
