will Sudeki run on Windows 7 64bit

I was going to get this game, but I heard that it has a hard time running on systems above XP as well as some sound bugs you need a patch for.

Also, apparently the installer is a bit buggy as well.

That all said, I really want to play it, but I'd like to know if I can run it at all.

It would be especially helpful if someone who has Windows Vista/7 64 bit could let me know if it will run, and if so, is there anything I need to do to make it run well.

Thanks. I heard the installer was the big hurdle, so I appreciate the link, but before I get the game, I need to know if it will run well ingame.

Basically, I just need to know if, once I get it installed, it'll function like it's supposed to without any game breaking issues (I heard there is a sound bug that can cause slowdowns).

I have no idea about that, but you will need a crack to overcome the starforce protection (it doesn't work in 64bit windows).

i have a original unprotected DVD version of SUDEKI that works with win7 x64 oh and the patch is only needed for the first version that was released on CDs it updates the SF drives to make this game work in VIsta... the DVD version is the latest version with all fixes

ps. and the sound BUG or LAG happens only in Winxp to fix it you have to do the same thing you do in every game that has sound issues in WINXP ... DISABLE SOUND ACCELERATION in DXDIAG directx control menu

oh i see we have the RUSSIAN STARFORCE CLONE only but not the fixed re-released DVD version without any DRM ... one sudeki DVD coming UP

Problem. Got it installed, put on the crack, but it will crash/hang (not sure which) after it tries to show the opening videos.

download my version without Starforce drm ... and most of older SF cracks where not cracks but loaders that used a hole in the sf drivers to send a false cd/dvd media key ,making this game start but now in newer systems such internal workarounds don't work no more [sf 3,7 drivers aren't compatible with vista and win7] those methods where now banned because there where depended on sf drivers ... but still you see them in many of russian scene releases that <i>fudge</i> the rules and use drive dumpers

I don't know if the copy I've got has starforce or not. I never tried the game, just got it and burned the archives to dvd.

The copy I have has what's called "protect.dll" (version 3.4.71.47), which apparently is Starforce v3.

Apparently, it has trouble loading in x64 versions of Windows due to the fact it does not provide signed drivers, and the crack I used doesn't seem to help.

I'm assuming the version from this site does not have this .dll at all and I need to replace my copy with the one from here, correct?

And by mirror, something other than megaupload, which seems to be down.

If possible, could this get posted onto fileserve? It can be posted in really large chunks and as far as I know that site works.

Okay, got the game, installed it fine, still getting the same error where it hangs right after the opening video.

Do I still need a No-CD patch?

And, on a related note, has anyone else installed this on Windows 7 64 bit and confirmed it to be fully playable?
