System Shock 2 Movies

Thx 3dshooterlegends for SS2 .
BUT , although the game runs without a flaw (safe_texture_manager , and the model and texture improvements ) I can't get the ingame movies to work . I can watch them with mediaplayer no prob , but they just don't play ingame .

1. Can this be because of the texture and models upgrade mods ?
2. I've tinkered with install.cfg to the death (no cd-movie path , only c:\sshock2\cutscenes specified , just remove any hint of a cd altogether , you name it , ....)
3. Does anone have a solution ?

you need to re-register the video filter lgvid.ax.
use a batch file before you start the game with the line:

regsvr32 /s f:\sshock2\LGVID.AX

of course you have to change the path to your shock2 dir.
for some reason windows kicks it out of the registry once in an while.
