Fredz has been hard at work creating a hires patch for Kingpin. The good news is that it's now finished.
Here are the details:-
Works for:
Kingpin 1.20
Kingpin 1.21
Kingpin 1.21 Steam
Kingpin 1.21 GOG
Kingpin alpha demo 0.22N
It does reconise:
Kingpin 1.00
Kingpin 1.10
But it doesn't work so update!
Does not reconise:
Kingpin 1.10 Linux
Kingpin 1.20 Linux
This is a windows patcher not a linux version.
It should work for any resolution your monitor supports.
Just extract the kprespatch exe file to your Kingpin folder and then just execute the file.
It will open a small window where you then just select where your current kingpin.exe is. You will also see nine Mode boxes with standard resolutions in them. Once you have inserted your kingpin.exe path then you will be able to change these to whatever respolution you desire (such as 1920 x 1080). Then you just press patch.
Your current exe is backed up and then when you run Kingpin you should be able to select high resolutions.
If you want to apply different resolutions at any time just repeat the steps above.
Also if you have a disk version you can click on the nocd check. Of course you can uncheck it later if you want to.
