A error with Evil Resistance Topic is solved

I wanted to ask that when I start Evil Resistance game I get this error:

“Invalid UTF-8 sequence header value.”

The error occurs when I create a new profile. I have Windows XP and NVidia Geforce 7300 LE.

How do I fix this?

hmm strange just got it , and it works fine ... try re-installing your drivers

running this from Daemon tools lite 4.47.1.0335 with SPTD 1.83 emulation drivers on Windows 7 64bit ...
could not even install those SFnightmare drivers that emulate the Starforce protection ... on windows 7 ,so i though it would not run [would tested it on my win98 machine if it would not] but guess DT implemented SFnightmare emulation code into SPTD

reinstall vc++ [visual studio drivers] , graphic drivers from Nvidia or Java....

since, its a UTF-8 error

but Invalid UTF-8 sequence header value ? a Unmappable character error in a game , and error that mostly is common in Internet browsers in game , a font error in game ? what kind of keyboard Language do you use ? or better put what type of font character did you use to write your Nick in that game ?

Thank you. Now the game works. I changed the language in my PC in the control panel from Spanish to English and that error no longer appears.
