technic has come out with a rip of this game....
once unpacked, it asks for cd2 to be in drive....
tried as an iso and still asks for cd2....
anyone else have this ripped copy....
anyone know any way of getting it to run....
when unpacked, it is not as cd1/cd2....
any advise on what to try would be nice....

Knowing it from some other technic rips I'd presume there's some small image file (*.bin, *.mds or whatever) which you have to mount to a virtual drive for this rip to work.

Looks like some lazy replacement for cracking

Hi Dusty
Got it working first time.
I suspect that you might have unpacked and then moved to a new directory or installed in a directory with spaces. Then the regsetup will be incorrect and the game will think it is not installed corectly , asking for cd.
I installed to c:/cops2170 - no probs .
I suggest you reinstall into a fresh simple directory name and check the new regsetup file before it enters registry.
