GTA: Vice City - Wrong Password [WORKING]

Awesome site but there is one problem in that 2CD ISO of GTA: Vice City

Whenever i put the password (3dshooterlegends.6x), it says file corrupted or wrong password. The file isn't corrupted and i was putting the password given in the download page (Legendsworld, not 4shared).

Wait a second, am i downloading the files in the wrong order? I downloaded the .r00 file first, so does that mean i have to download the .rar file first then download the r00 to r06 files? Or the password has literally been changed? (Oh and the .sfv file)

EDIT: The .rar file has the same problem, so the password has literally been changed. So, please give me the new password?

Your presumption of downloading rar files in a specific order is wrong. It doesn't matter what order they are downloaded in as long as they all reside in the same folder when you go to unpack the split archive.

I'm sorry to say this but i gave up on Vice City. The thing is that i lost the disc 1 mdf file for some reason and i can't convert it to ISO and i spent days downloading all of them (which i will encounter again when i will download Marvel Ultimate Alliance), so i have decided to download only the 2D Universe GTA games (GTA 1, 2 and London 1961 and 1969) but i'm already encountering a problem with GTA 1. The r02 file is missing from the folder. I'm really sorry about that.

Why do you need to convert the files to ISO?

Sorry to hear you are having so many problems with these games. For mdf files you need either Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools to mount them, there are probably other programs that work, but those are the ones I used in the past. Good luck

Thanks but i don't want to redownload those files now, i will try some other day. Oh and where is the GTA.r02 file in the GTA 1 ISO Demo folder?

Oh and Meddle, about that ISO conversion. Yeah apparently, you can extract the ISO files using WinRAR and i convert the file (lets say the .img file) to ISO using WinISO (if it works, another reason why i gave up on Vice City). To me, i find it very easy.

Yeah, you can do that but why? That copy of Vice City is an Alcohol Clone meaning that you don't need a crack to use the game if you mount the play disc in Alcohol 52/120 or Daemon Tools. If you convert it to an iso you lose the special bits that make it a clone. But, if you just want the files from the images, just mount them with alcohol 120 or daemon tools and copy the files off.

For the sake of it I just downloaded all the files again and tested the archives + password: everything is OK.

Thanks guys but i will do GTA Vice City, GTA 1 and GTA London some time later, i know this will annoy you guys but atleast i know what i am supposed to be doing when i will redownload those games. In fact, here is a list of the games i'm going to download -

Ultimate Spider-Man
X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Beyond Good & Evil
Spider-Man
Rayman
Rayman 2: The Great Escape
Rayman 3: Hoodlum's Revenge
Rayman Origins
Trine

So, i might have to retreat to Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%, if the ISO conversion method doesn't work in some of these games.

Oh and some other ones which i will do after taking a break from downloading all of the above mentioned games (of course).

Trine 2
The Legacy of Kain series (yes, all 5 of them)
Tomb Raider 1-5
