The clone is not broken, the damn thing works. I've played it before.

Of course I might have played it on WinXP.

As far as I know Egon did not make this particular image. I am/was under the impression that it was made with Daemon Tools Pro Advanced.

from the view point of Virtual CD it is broken , when 400 sectors where skipped and its not a TRUE 1:1 of the DRM you cant correctly emulate Tages ... from the view point of DT its ok it emulates those 400 missing sectors (it depends now on the emulation drivers of DT that can be blocked !! its SPTD drivers )

Its like MIRROR figured it out how to dump correctly 1:1 CDs with Starforce so you can BURN THEM and the DRM will think its original media !!!

and about DT dumping ... its superior image format is MDX (like with Virtual CD .VC6 .VC9 1:1 format) it can correctly store tages (in some form for emulation only) ... about MDS/MDF well it also can do that but it uses the same technics that Alcohol used = good for emulation , crap for burning ... there are only two good dumping programs out there one is Virtual CD , the other is Blindwrite (its topological dumping is so superior , that to this day it can DO BURNABLE IMAGES of SECUROM/STARFORCE but not tages)

They only have the movie and a Clone from the 2 CD russian version ... but not the cracked one

Well after thinking about this a bit overnight. I think it's best if we get the Polish version and then try our best to make alternate language packs for it if possible. We can try to get the English version dumped correctly, but if people want to play the game without much hassle... then the language pack idea might be a good way to make that happen.

That is unless the unprotected exe just works on different language versions either by itself or bundled with some also unprotected DLLs. That'd be even less hassle.

Ok, I've installed the Polish version and archived all executables from the root folder, all seem to be unprotected. I don't have time to check everything and test it for the compatibility with English one. Do it yourself and report here.

I didn't remember the game being so crappy, but it works with the executables kindly provided by GigaWatt.

The files provided by GigaWatt have been folded into the archive for this game and the new archive is being uploaded.

Actually, the game was kindly provided to me by a friend, who had paid for it, and GigaWatt just gladly shared those executables to his friends and kindly to the rest of the world. So, it works ok? I'm satisfied.
