Hi, I'm new to this forum. I happen to enjoy vintage computer games, and they are fun too.
I have quite a bit of CD-ROMs in my collection, and have uploaded some to the Internet Archive, which tries to be ephemeral unlike other file hosts. I'm an archivist too, in my spare time, not as a job.
I also confess to mirroring some of the computer games from here on to that site too, because links like 4shared tend to die down (I mirror a lot of file host stuff there--it's the thing I do--I give credit to the original author and have even made a subject tag for "legendsworld" recently). So far my rarest upload has either been version 1.0 of Sammy's Science House (http://archive.org/details/SammyScienceHouseV10) or the British 1,250 Games (http://archive.org/details/1250GamesFocus).
Thank you for reading this short introduction.

Re: Gaz, A New User
Glad to have you here. We've noticed mirroring of some of our uploads on internet archive which is good to have a stable host.

You're welcome. I'm glad that you like my reuploads there. The Knowledge Munchers Deluxe game was in my collection though.

Welcome aboard!
I don't usually correct people with word choices but you should be looking for different word than ephemeral. That word best describes the current file hosts we are using.
