Terra Nova SFC

Post by Seeker3 »

This game is driving me crazy!! Can someone please tell me how to get this game to run?I have a Pentium 3 450,192 megs of ram,and Rage 128 AGP GL 32meg video card.Whenever I try to run it,whether in Dos or Windows98,I get this error,"terra nova crashed trying to allocate 0 bytes"and this error code:4294967295.I managed to get to the initial screen in WinXP SP2,using instructions found in a google search and SolVBE,but I can find nothing as far as Win9x or dos is concerned. Also this is the version I downed from 3dsl,and when I click on setup.exe all I get is gibberish instead of choices I can read! Can anyone help me?

P.S. As far as XP goes it is way to slow to play!

Thanx,Seeker3

Thanks for the reply Scaryfun, but i've been using those instructions to try to get it running, and like I said,so far I can only get the opening screen on XP,and then it bogs down. Also,I use Google almost exclusively,so I do look before I post here.I was just hoping someone got it running on Win 9x or Dos and could explain how,and what those errors mean.Later Seeker3.

I got it going on my old PC.. PII300 with a 4mb matrox card on win98.... I had no probs... but I am using the original disc.. I don't know if that helps.. I had problems running it on an even earlier pc (P120, win95 on-board vid card) it was something with the VESA being incompatible or something and the screen transistion was super slow... like 5mins....
