Atelier Marie / Elie installation error 52

Any idea how to circumvent error 52 during install? I don't want to look for a win95 virtual machine. This happens on a win7 32bit OS, so it's not the usual 64bit OS incompatibility. Using japanese locale or win95/98 compatibility settings does nothing :-/

I know you probably want to get the PC version working, but i would sugest playing the game on the PS2 emulator. Not only you have the fan translation patch, but the PS2 version is the final and best version of the game, with bugs fixed, improved and new background art and animations and general UI overhaul.
