Some questions:
- PC version of Forza Motorsport 6 was not full version of the game?
- Apex version was free?
- how to get Forza Motorsport 6: Apex Premium Edition nowdays?

"Forza Motorsport 6: Apex" that's the PC version name... is a Free to play game with In-app microtransactions for cars ... a lure to sucker you to install Win10 SP2 Anniversary Edition promoted hard on Win7 machines ... and also promoting theirs Windows Store that back in the day did the same shady OEM deal with other games ... like Halo2 PC Xbox 1 Port Lured you to install Vista with the PC XBLA cancer that wanted to push Paywalled MP ... after some time they did the same with Quantum Brake ... and other small games never telling you the real deal

"Hey you got this for free , but first give your private data that we will sale to market agencies for millions... oh you are salty you didn't get a cut , but we gave you a free game , now BUZZZ OFFF"
There was Never Ever a "Forza Motorsport 6: Apex Premium Edition" it was always "Forza Motorsport 6" but when this game came from Xbone to PC they added Apex tag to it ... so people would not be confused what is what

SO now your confused "But but but Forza Motorsport 6: Apex Premium Edition is on MS store" ... its a lure to make you buy a Xbone , a edition PR-ed with a fancy name for that was the standard version of forza 6... that is ... only available on xbox

It was a game from a time (2016) where MS was HARD PR-ing CROSS PLATFORM SALES OF GAMES ... if you buy them digitally in Windows MS Store that is, a move to kill the physical sales and kill the used sales market of games ... since MS like Sony and Nintendo push hard for Cloud Gaming joining Xcloud

... G failed hard with stream gaming, and since now PS3\PSP\Vita PSN store closed lemmings woke up what was happening ... Xcloud is bound to fail , if only more people would woke up and not fall for the Games Pass Trap that "Rents you Games"

After MS failure to make Windows Store a "thing"on PC ... they now sale those games on steam without those shady deals ... from Quantum Break , to Forza 7 to Sunshine Overdrive but with a snag ... you have to have a WIn10 on a set version number ...

Thanks for the background! Some of it I knew, for some I got confirmation.

Regardless, I should emphasize that obtaining this "free" Forza Motorsport 6: Apex now when MS has made it unavailable, is my main request. I hope someone has it in some playable form to share.

FitGirl did a repack of it ... from all Forza games that PC got ... even some other Russian\Ukrainian groups did one also ... but like mentioned you have to be on Win10 version 1607 aka Anniversary Update build number 14393 to play the game and have Developer Mode with Fake WinStore on your system ... write Winver in your Run menu to see your version

The thing is many people stayed on 14393 since in new updates MS gimped hard Intel CPUs slowing them down by 25% to 20% ... or even disabled Hyper Treading ,all because Intel got 37 CIA holes everyone in the known knew about and so everyone went Ryzen

Why not play the Sandbox better version of Forza , called Horizon that unlike previous UWP-based versions of the game, works fine on any Windows 10 build ... Forza Horizon 4

Speaking of racing games, this might be of intrest to some of you.

Forza Motorsport 7 will reach 'end of life' status on September 15, 2021. That means that the game and its associated DLC will no longer be available for purchase after that date. Might be worth it to just shell out, as the crack/workaround for those windows store games were a bit messy. It may have changed now though.
