Is there something like a timing patch to keep the speed constant?
As soon as I'm in the game everything becomes unplayable faster and faster and faster and so fast that the frame rate drops from 60 to 8 FPS.
A left click and the knife is swung under 1 second 100x or even breathing becomes so fast that you can no longer see the breathing like the clouds.
Specs:
Windows 7 64Bit/ 32GB/ RTX2060-12GB/ Asus Xonar

Vintage issue, known as long as the game itself - install the latest patch for it, then apply its matching NoCD crk: https://gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_mortyr_2.shtml
Afterwards get some QOL fixes if wanting to: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Mortyr_2:_For_Ever

I have the patch on it for a long time and also the crack.
The widescreen fix I did not know yet
I know where the error was. I have always started the Argon.exe. With the Morty2.exe it runs normally.
Thanks for the tip

Re: Mortyr 2: For Ever "Crazy World and Model Timing Bug"
Despite the fact that the last patch is 1.352 (Mortyr2.exe and Argon.exe were cracked)
There is a newer version: 1.354US (2005).
Download: https://myrient.erista.me/files/Redump/ ... 0(USA).zip
This CD does not contain the Argon.exe file or speed issues.
You can play with mounted CD because seems like the exe was never cracked (apparently).
I made a No-CD crack by changing just one hexadecimal value and finished the game without CD and no problems, but since I'm not an expert in the field I don't feel safe to share it.
If anyone wants it let me know.
Greetings.

This is not communicated at all. I had looked around via Web Archive on the Mortyr support pages. There is no info there and it is not a typo in the RTF document. The exe is in fact a "build 1.354US, Jan 12, 2005".
Can you send me your "fix" via PM?
greetings

I also visited the official web via the Wayback Machine and I didn't find anything about this version either, like a secret gem.
I leave here 1.354US crack for everyone:
https://pixeldrain.com/u/HHJKnssy
Please try it, and tell me how it worked, I'm interested in knowing.
Like I said, I used it from start to finish with no problems.

Yes it works, it just doesn't work as "cleanly". I have just changed a the offset that the requester no longer appears.
Protection is a verify with GetVolumeInformation. So Change the Offset 004011EE (E8 7D FE FF FF) to (90 90 90 90 90) avoid to go in GetVolumeInformation and then the Jump (75 36) at offset 004011F5. Change to (73 36) to jump directly to DeletFile for LogFiles and skipts "AANoCD/T" and begins the Game.

My Version

Hint: The Installer is Inno. Can easy Extractet with Inno Extract.

As I said, I have no experience on this, so I'm glad you were able to improved it.
I already downloaded it, thank you.
Enjoy the game!
