[List] FPS Beta/Alpha build section!

As you may have read my idea of creating a new section on the site about Beta's and Alpha's!! Let's begin with the 'normal' area of 3DSL years 1991 - 1998. As the most of you are collector's we never get enough right? So let's create the list, only information this time. We can up them any time later.

Come on guys let's dig in the past in search for beta's!! Share your knowlegde!!

You should also note that Delacroix has betas of Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Unreal 2 and Unreal Tournament 2003.

Thanks for sharing Narfous, but as for this list I wanted to have FPS only for (maybe) a seperate section on 3DSL.

@Delacroix - Please could you tell me what kind of beta's you have? Thanks in advance!

I updated it while anyone still seemed interested.
The Unreal betas that Delacroix uploaded before had been messed with, he added levels and stuff to them as I remember. Which I still think destroys the whole interest of looking at them to see what was different.

some errors

there's only one Turok beta.

Half-Life 2 is a 2004 game. The leak was in 2003.

Daikatana's pre-alpha was released in 2004, but itself is dated 1997.

There's also a Quake3 1.03 test, but it is Linux only for client and Win32 only for server.

I also have the Quake prerelease (June 21, a day before the official 0.91 shareware)

To prevent total chaos in the list I have made the decision to sort the leaks by years the retail versions came out, so you're correct about Half Life 2, changed it now.

Added the Quake prerelease you have, it's from the shareware right?

Which Turok beta exist?

No. The pre-release has all 4 episodes. There's lots of minor changes and the end map is completely different.

You were confused by what I said about the Turok beta - I have a Glide only beta that was issued to 3dfx (the company).
