In "Start -> Run" type "compmgmt.msc" and press enter. In the dialogue, select the drive management (second to last entry in the tree view). In the lower half you will get a list of all your drives, including physical and virtual optical drives. The names should make it obvious which is which.

Now, by right-clicking on drives to the left and selecting "change drive letter", make sure that your virtual drive comes before your physical drive alphabetically.

As two drives cannot have the same letter you might need 3 steps to switch the letters.

Please post how well the game runs once you're able to start it... I had frequent crashes (every 3 minutes or so) on my system.

Thank you. I have no problems playing it. It crashed only one time with an "send / don't send report to Microsoft" error when I tried to rename my profile but worked perfectly after that.

Ok thanks, then it must be my scruffy system.
I'll try it in a Win98 virtual machine later...
