AVPr2 Island of the Dead TC issue

I've just download Island of the Dead tc for Avp2, and i have a problem to run it.

in instruction that is include in rar you can read that:

Put ISLAND.REZ in your main AliensvsPredator- Folder, just where the other rez-files are.
Launch the game, and in the start window, under options you type (or copy and paste this):
rez ISLAND.REZ
Make sure that you have disabled other custom levels, mods or changes (don't mean DM-Maps),
before you start with tis level. 

that doesnt help much, because it doesnt work at all

so does eny body know how to run this tc??

Try this - Install patch, put the rez file in the folder called custom (if it's not there it should be alongside the Movies, Save, Profiles etc folders). In options, enter the command line as follows
-rez custom\ISLAND.REZ
Then run the game and Single Player-Custom and the titles should be now there.

Uhm, shouldn't you be able to put it any place you want and just run the game using that parameter? Like making a shortcut for AVP on your desktop and then open the shortcut's properties and add "-rez xxxx.rez" to the file executed?!

I've seen this being different on some games.

The original instruction works fine just you need to add a - to the

rez ISLAND.REZ

-rez ISLAND.REZ

but the other options given by Scary and Dead Meat are just as good if not better...

Yep, should work from any location. I copied instructions from post I found. As long as the game is patched, the TC should work.

for help it's working now . However I need to update first to 096.

without this update you can only see backgrounds in menu.
