Re: Wet Attack Missing Pieces
maybe, seems odd because the exact filename it says it can't find IS in the first disk, If I can find it why can't my PC??! :p
Re: Wet Attack Missing Pieces
OK, fixed the d3drm and now a whole host of graphics errors,
maybe it's not meant to be, thanks for the help guys :~)

Re: Wet Attack Missing Pieces
I had to install it on my Windows 98 machine. I couldn't get it to work on XP. I never even tried with 7. If you don't have a Win98 machine, you might look into virtualization. I haven't worked with that a lot, so I don't know if it will work or not.
Re: Wet Attack Missing Pieces
arrghh, so close, have got it sort of running on win 10 (minus a mouse pointer :/ )
now, even with all the discs mounted on virtual drives it keeps saying insert disk 1....

Re: Wet Attack Missing Pieces
ehm you know old PCs had only ONE HDD , ONE CD-rom drive and ONE Floppy drive as a Boot drive ... so if a game from 1999 suddenly sees 9 hdds , 4 CD\DVD\BD drives it goes loco ... some old games look for the CD after the C: drive ... if the first letter they find is a HDD they will display "CD not found" ...
d3drm.dll problems are missing DirectX from 7\8c\9\9c\9d ... Dx10 tries to emulate those missing files but for some you have to install DX9c ... same goes for Win10 with its DX11.1 or DX11.2

Re: Wet Attack Missing Pieces
found a video in German on getting it to work but pre-Windows 10 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXpL1LznkU4
It says: The game works on 32-bit operating systems. For 64-bit operating systems, no videos are played. For Windows 8.1 (64-bit), I also have no mouse cursor.

Thanks for the continued help guys...
That's a mighty fine you point you make there @hfric! Didn't even cross my mind lol you should be a Moderator with your knowledge.....
(yes I know you already are!)
I think I saw that video too @Scaryfun, that's how I got the mouse cursor circle thingy (that's it's technical name!) so I could at least choose newgame/quit etc
might give it one more go with the disks in a better order as suggested, either that or wait for GOG to remaster it
