Favorite video game soundtrack(s)
:hi:What is your favorite video game soundtrack? Share as many as you'd like. You can also write your favorite tracks, the composer(s), as well as the release date of the game/soundtrack. I like a lot of soundtracks and to me they're what makes the game more special.

Re: Favorite video game soundtrack(s)
Lemme be the one to break the ice with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3y5DrVhn2LQ

Disc 2 (first instalment) is the among the most awesome things my ears have ever heard in me gaming history (as in, almost every track of the score overall), making disc 1 (the sequel) feel like a let-down afterwards (the game itself was an improvement, but felt it had less hooks than its predecessor, thus having barely enough willpower to complete it, unlike the former which was more fun)
Of course, other OSTs certainly had its shining moments; me fancy is mostly '80s and '90s arcades (like stuff by Sega, Namco, Data East and CAPCOM's CPS-1, and by extent, some X68000 as well), with some home titles being huge standouts (Max Payne(s), Hitman(s, pre-Absolution), Shenmue(s), Syphon Filter(s, PS1), Resident Evil(s, PS1), MGS4, other series etc) - but as a whole hardly anything tops the disc above IMO
As for modern scores, can't remember anything having attracted my attention (since I usually also can't remember what I've played, let alone listened to, of any notable mention; maybe it's their greater forgetfulness and/or lack of innovation and/or hooks but it's gotta be something, dunno what tho)

A Plague Tale: Innocence!
I had goose pumps most of the time. Brilliant music from Olivier Deriviere and all around fantastic game!

I've never been a fan of the Elder Scrolls series but I love Morrowind's main theme, it's just beautiful. Max Payne (first game) also features a very intense soundtrack.

"Here at least
We shall be free; the Almighty hath not built
Here for his envy, will not drive us hence:
Here we may reign secure; and, in my choice,
To reign is worth ambition, though in Hell:
Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven…"

Here we may reign secure; and, in my choice,
